Michelle qualified as an integrative psychotherapist in 2008. Michelle’s therapeutic approach is warm, open, nurturing and honest; using talking therapy, in a safe and confidential setting encourages the individual to bring whatever they need to discuss. The use of creative techniques can facilitate communication artistically, through imagination, when spoken words are difficult.
Michelle works with both young people and adults, focussing on anxiety, self-harm and depression. She also provides end-of-life and bereavement counselling.
Michelle operates within the guidelines for ethical practice and equal opportunities as recommended by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is fully insured with a current CRB certificate.
